The VibroLaser ScanSet contains a high precision laser deflection unit, a HD CCD camera and a ScanSet holder made of robust aluminium. The HD CCD Camera enables photo realistic capture of the measurement object. Linear slides allow the position of the laser vibrometer to be adjusted and fixed using a clamping lever, this ensures that the laser beam of any common laser-vibrometer is incident on the mirrors at centre position. Using a ScanSet for measuring the signal quality is only
dependant on the specifications and quality of the used Laser Doppler
Vibrometer. All power and signals supplied between the controller and Scan head, including power to mirror units and camera data, are encompassed in a single cable.
The controller houses power supplies, an electrical component to steer the mirrors and a data acquisition system to digitise the vibration signals. The unit is connected directly to the central cable to the ScanSet, is has BNC connectors for the input channels and the generator output, and one USB connector for PC. Only one USB is required for mirror and CCD-Camera steering, vibration data and video stream.
